DG Holds Press Conference: Discusses Plans for 2023/2024 Rotary Year

The District Governor (DG) of Rotary District 9141, Emeke Utebor, recently held a press conference to discuss his plans for the 2023/2024 Rotary year. The event held at the Orchid Hotel and Suites, Asaba on Wednesday, 5th July; 2023. 

After the press conference, he paid a visit to a Past District Governor (PDG) Ngozi Allanah. According to DG Utebor, the visit was aimed at discussing ways to better serve their communities through Rotary’s various programs and initiatives. During their meeting, DG Utebor discussed plans for the upcoming Rotary events and activities, as well as ways to increase membership and engagement in the districts. He also praised PDG Allanah and other Past District Governors for their leadership and contributions to Rotary over the years, saying that he was a role model for all Rotarians.

DG Utebor’s visit to PDG Allanah highlighted the importance of continuity as well as collaboration and partnership in Rotary and demonstrated the organization’s commitment to making a positive impact in communities across the globe. He charged Rotarians to appreciate their past leaders and visit them regularly especially those who can no longer attend fellowships or events.

PDG Allanah and his wife were very happy and expressed their joy at the visit. They thanked the District Governor Emeke Utebor and his entourage. The visit ended with singing of rotary songs.
